Week 14a- Print Ready Design-Layout Terms

                                        Font : a particular size, weight and style of a typeface.
Margin: the area between the main content of a page and the page edges
Guide : Rulers help you accurately place and measure objects in the illustration window or in an artboard
Bleed: printing term that refers to printing that goes beyond the edge of the sheet before trimming
CMYK:  is a subtractive color model, used in color printing, and is also used to describe the printing process itself
Image resolution: the detail an image holds 
Proof copy: a copy of (a book, story, etc) made from trial impressions made from composed type, or print-outs (from a laser printer, etc) for the correction of errors
Artboard: a unique and powerful feature of Illustrator
Registered trademark: symbol that provides notice that the preceding word or symbol is a trademark or service mark that has been registered with a national trademark office.

Week 12 - Post Spring Break - Vectors & Extra Credit Assignments

Rule of thirds: guidelines which applies to the process of composing visual images 
Resolution camera function:the ability of a device to show an image clearly and with a lot of detail
Autofocus: optical system uses a sensor, a control system and a motor or tunable optical element to focus automatically or on a manually selected point or area
white balance  (ISO) :one of the global adjustment of the intensities of the colors 
Shot Timer:a device on a camera that gives a delay between pressing the shutter release and the shutter's firing
